The Challenge
Within the Equipment & Mechanical Services department, which serves a truly global market, you will be responsible for mechanical support to urea plant owners and acquiring orders for various mechanical services, such as inspection/repair/replacement/procurement/delivery services related to various equipment (particularly HP equipment), leak detection systems and customized process control instruments. During plant visits you will be the specialist to analyze equipment problems, advice urea plant owners with regard to corrosion and corrosion prevention for equipment, methods of repair, material use, welding, relining, replacement of HP equipment and selection of manufacturers for equipment. You will also secure the delivery and reliability of materials and equipment, advise in the execution of modification or replacement of HP equipment, either at the suppliers premises or in the plant. You will cooperate intensively with equipment manufacturers, plant personnel and engineers in Stamicarbon with regard to experiences in equipment design, manufacturing techniques and the procurement and delivery of equipment.

The Ideal
Mechanical background on a Higher Vocational level with extensive practical experience and in-depth mechanical and corrosion knowledge in HP equipment. An entrepreneur, with affinity for process installations and static equipment. Commercially and customer oriented with very good social and communicative / negotiating skills. Representative and result oriented. Creative thinking for new technological solutions and commercial compromises. Flexibility, ability to adapt to different cultures. High level of independence regarding working a long distance from base. Decisiveness and determination. And off course a good control of the English language.
